As part of Leviton’s commitment to offering complete solutions to customers, the new “Leviton 101” is prominently featured on the homepage as well as throughout the site. This educational platform connects visitors with intuitive training videos and information from Leviton experts as well as with other site visitors for collaborative DIY discussions. Leviton is also offering professionals specific information on the necessary lighting controls, wiring devices, and connectivity for applications such as for data centers, education facilities, healthcare facilities and theaters, among others. Through extensive work in various spaces, Leviton has developed a keen understanding of the numerous priorities and challenges necessary for providing the optimal electrical, lighting and networking solution for each unique type of project.

“We wanted to make sure that our new website gives everyone the tools – no matter their skill level – to complete their project, while being mindful that site navigation must be more intuitive, so solutions can be found more easily,” explained David Keller, Leviton’s Senior Director of e-Business. “With our newly designed navigation menu, it’s now possible to access robust pages for the more than 25,000 products in our catalog in just one click.”

The new website welcomes visitors with a cleaner interface layout and a rotating carousel of vibrant images that links directly to key pages on the site. The updated navigation menu improves browsing by condensing the number of tabs, bucketing relevant information under each tab and providing visitors the option to search for specific products or by solution. Visitors also have quick access to Leviton’s complete newsroom for the latest information on Leviton innovations. The site also links visitors to all of Leviton’s social media channels directly from the homepage.

To honor the launch of the new website, Leviton is inviting visitors to participate in a scavenger hunt for the chance to win one of three iPad2s. The contest begins today and runs through the entire month of February. The contest will be held through a variety of Leviton channels, including Facebook, Twitter and the website. Participants will be given specific questions and encouraged to explore the website to answer them, while learning more about the company. Those contestants who correctly answer the questions will be entered into a drawing for the chance to win one of the iPad2s.
