A very powerful, compact, 19-inch server, such was the challenge for the EIM model. With its 40 cm depth it will fit in any 19-inch cabinet. Combined with virtualization software or Small Business Server this makes for an excellent solution for SMEs. Its higher chassis will allow for 2 XEON processors. Besides this, it can contain a RAID controller with six 3.5 inch disks, turning it into a compact high-end server. The back side has room for 7 expansion cards.
Energy saving measures
This server was developed from the viewpoint of its housing and functionality as well as its energy consumption. The ventilator is a low energy type of 120 mm, with the possibility to place a powerful additional ventilator, if necessary. In order to cool the disks, yet another additional ventilator may be installed. The supply is obviously 80plus certified, so the heat development remains at a low level. In case the server is supplied as a Virtualization server, for instance for VMware, Hyper-V or XEN we will use Low Power processors from Intel.

Supplied in the colour black without the ECOserver logo with DVD or with a white front and the ECOserver logo and DVD. Other colours and imprints upon request
